Team Lead of Project Development

Are you a seasoned professional in project development with a passion for renewable energy? My customer is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Lead Project Developer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to spearhead innovative renewable energy projects while contributing to the sustainable future of our planet.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, environmental experts, and finance professionals to drive project success.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to identify optimal project locations and strategies.
• Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance processes, maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage project contracts, negotiations, and vendor relationships to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to inform project strategies and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind or solar energy.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale renewable energy projects from development through construction and operation.
• Strong understanding of project finance, including investment analysis, funding sources, and financial modeling
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
