Role Overview

As an SAP SuccessFactors Application Analyst (Internal Consultant), you will play a pivotal role in the reimplementation and ongoing support of SAP SuccessFactors (SF). This hybrid role combines configuration, reporting, and user support, working closely with HR and IT to deliver high-quality system solutions and insights.

You will be embedded in the HR team at HQ Vienna (approx. 20 HR colleagues), collaborating with a project team of 3 key leads and engaging across a larger 100+ headcount at HQ. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about HR technology, continuous system improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle configuration and maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), with a focus on backend and frontend settings, especially for foreign legal entities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain HR Reporting & Analytics solutions, including periodic reports (monthly headcount, FTE statistics, year-end data, budgeting) and ad hoc analyses to support HR and management decision-making.
  • Manage application housekeeping tasks such as user permissions, authorizations, and system configuration updates.
  • Serve as a hybrid key user, reporting specialist, and internal consultant, supporting continuous system development and ensuring the platform remains audit-ready.
  • Collaborate with project leadership: Markus (Project Manager), Performance & Goals Process Manager, and an additional Project Manager during and post-implementation.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal HR and technical stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and facilitating smooth change management.
  • Participate in system testing, user training, and documentation updates as part of ongoing improvements and future rollouts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (configuration and maintenance, both backend and frontend).
  • At least 2 years of HR Reporting and Analytics experience using SAP SF or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Fluent in German (essential) and good command of English for communication within an international environment.

Desired Profile

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with SAP SF or other HRIS systems in a comparable internal or consulting role.
  • Passionate about application management and continuous improvement; able to thrive in routine operational tasks while driving innovation.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and eager to develop expertise in SuccessFactors and HR technology management.
  • Certification in SAP SuccessFactors is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical mindset, and a collaborative approach.
