Electronic Technician

Location: Houston, TX

We deliver world-class offshore energy projects, driving the future through innovation, collaboration, and performance. With recent major contract awards and a strong regional backlog, we are expanding our Houston-based team and invite skilled professionals to join us.

You will be part of a dedicated group focused on subsea positioning, measurement, and mapping, working with our advanced fleet of pipelay and construction vessels. This shore-based role at our Offshore Delivery Workshop offers the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment in a supportive, safety-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
* Ensure all electronic systems and equipment operate reliably and meet technical standards.
* Diagnose and resolve issues using structured fault-finding techniques.
* Carry out planned maintenance in line with task plans and work instructions.
* Create new task plans/work instructions where needed.
* Identify and request spare parts to support maintenance activities.
* Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and logs in Workshop Request software and SAP.
* Collaborate across workshop disciplines and liaise with clients when required.
* Support planned maintenance campaigns for electronic department equipment.
* Provide technical information to the administration team for SAP equipment updates.
* Promote a strong safety culture and report incidents through Synergi.
* Keep the Electronic Team Lead updated on progress and issues.

What We’re Looking For
* 2-3 years of experience in electronic/electrical systems maintenance.
* Solid knowledge of ROV/Survey subsea electronic equipment.
* Hands-on experience with ROV control systems (hardware and software).
* Broad background in electronic systems across multiple equipment types.
* Strong computer hardware knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.
* Advanced component-level fault-finding skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A collaborative, adaptable, and positive team player.
