DevOps Engineer (ForgeRock / IAM) – Switzerland – 12 month contract + extensions

Darwin Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team. We are looking to hire a temporary external consultant as soon as possible for a 12-month contract, with possible extensions.

General conditions:

• Day Rate: Flexible / Looking for a senior candidate
• Location: Swiss-based (Remote options available within Switzerland)
• Duration: January 2025 – June 2025 (potential extension until end of the year)
• Engagement Type: Full-time (100% FTE)
• Language Requirements: English proficiency required

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in ForgeRock, specifically the AM, IDM, and DS modules, to join our dynamic team working on a support project for my clients Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution. This role will focus on integrating IAM solutions and optimizing identity management systems using industry-standard tools and methodologies. You will be an integral part of the team, collaborating on technical design, implementation, and support of critical IAM systems for a leading Swiss telecommunications provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with ForgeRock IAM modules (AM, IDM, DS) to enhance and support IAM solutions.
• Implement and optimize identity federation using OpenID Connect and related IAM protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integration patterns and ensure secure and efficient IAM workflows.
• Assist with system testing and provide feedback to ensure quality and stability.
• Support the overall IAM architecture and enhance the scalability and performance of the platform.

Must-Have skills:

• Extensive experience with ForgeRock IAM, particularly AM, IDM, and DS modules.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including OpenID Connect and identity federation.
• Proven experience with integration patterns and building robust identity systems.

Nice-to-Have skills:

• Previous experience with IAM systems.
• Experience in IAM testing and troubleshooting.
• Frontend development experience (Angular, NodeJS).
