AWS Senior DevOps Engineer

My client, a fast-growing technology-driven organization, is building the infrastructure behind some of Europe’s most well-known digital platforms. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a leading role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and security of mission-critical environments, all hosted in a sophisticated AWS ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
• Brings deep AWS knowledge (e.g. EC2, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
• Has experience working with high-traffic, performance-sensitive platforms.
• Knows their way around Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform (or CloudFormation).
• Understands scalable architecture, containerization (Docker), and cloud automation.
• Is confident with application testing and infrastructure security best practices.
• Collaborates effectively in agile teams and values open communication.

Who gets excited about:

• Designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure in AWS from scratch.
• Working with modern tools like Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Redis, Terraform, GitLab, and more.
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe deployments.
• Monitoring performance, setting up alerts, and proactively preventing downtime.
• Sharing knowledge with peers and learning from (not hiding) mistakes.
• A hybrid work model with both flexibility and strong team cohesion.
