Responsibilities:

• Effective terminal infrastructure management encompassing a thorough evaluation of existing conditions and maintenance plans, resulting in well-founded budget recommendations.
• Will be in charge of overseeing the current dredging and scour protection contract + Asset Management of the terminal (Buildings, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Roads & Pavement, etc.)
• Expanding terminal facilities involving multifaceted tasks such as conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, estimating project costs, and strategically managing the procurement process.

Profile Required:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 15 years’ experience in marine works
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of container terminals is crucial
• Previous experience in African markets is required
• Fluency in both English is a must, with French being advantageous
• Skilled at conveying engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experienced in establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
