RF HW Design Engineer – Satellite Communication Systems

We are partnered with a leading provider of RF transmission systems for satellite, broadcast, and cable applications, with a strong reputation for high-reliability solutions. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, they design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge RF transmission products used by customers worldwide, including teleport operators, broadcasters, and government agencies.

They are currently seeking an RF HW Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hands-on engineering role offering an opportunity to design and develop RF communication systems and antenna solutions for satellite ground station applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in RF design and be eager to develop into a senior engineer within the company.

The Role

As an RF HW Design Engineer, you will be involved in the full product development cycle, from concept and design to testing and production. Working closely with other engineers and production teams on-site, you will develop high-performance RF systems for signal transmission over coaxial and optical fiber networks.

You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing RF circuits and components, ensuring they meet the performance and reliability standards required for satellite communication systems. Documentation of designs and technical decisions will also be a key part of your role.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • A few years of experience in RF design, ideally for communication and antenna systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of RF principles and transmission techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and debugging methodologies.
  • Ability to document technical work clearly and concisely.
  • English proficiency is required; German is beneficial.
