Marine Superintendent (Bulk & Container)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent with a strong background in bulk and container vessels to manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and compliance of our fleet. This role requires a senior professional capable of ensuring operational excellence while supporting fleet expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of bulk carriers and container vessels.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards.
• Manage technical and operational performance of assigned vessels.
• Liaise with ship management teams, owners, and external contractors.
• Support fleet expansion initiatives and ensure smooth onboarding of new vessels.
• Participate in negotiations and commercial discussions related to vessel operations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior officers and crew.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Marine Superintendent with bulk carriers and/or container vessels.
• Strong knowledge of vessel operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• English language proficiency required (German language skills an advantage).
• Seniority preferred, but not overly experienced to hinder adaptability.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Home office flexibility: 2 days per week.
