Job Description: Data Centre Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our mission-critical facilities in Norway. In this role, you will oversee complex construction phases, manage cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure our sustainable data centre projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and handover of data centre construction projects from initial design and procurement through to final commissioning.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Manage project financials, cost forecasts, and master schedules, proactively mitigating risks to prevent delays or overruns.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, sub-contractors, and local Norwegian authorities.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure all construction and engineering practices strictly adhere to Norwegian building regulations, local environmental standards, and global data centre safety protocols.
• Safety Leadership: Foster a safety-first culture on-site, enforcing rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all project phases.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering data centres, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale industrial infrastructure.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with high-voltage power, complex HVAC infrastructure, and modern data centre tier architecture.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a distinct advantage.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management credentials are highly desirable.
