As a Freelance DevOps Engineer specializing in Kafka, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of data transport infrastructure. This platform supports diverse use cases like classification, insights generation, and modeling user behavior.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining a resilient, high-performance data transport layer for global platforms.
- Operating and scaling a globally distributed product infrastructure.
- Improving system APIs, documentation, and overall reliability.
- Monitoring and enhancing system health, performance, and quality metrics.
Technologies You’ll Work With
- Programming Languages: Python, Golang, Java
- Kafka Ecosystem: Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect
- Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Monitoring and Observability: DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana Cloud
- CI/CD and DevOps Tools: Spinnaker, GitHub, Artifactory
