The role

My client seeks a passionate and highly motivated Earthquake Engineering Specialist to join their dedicated team

in Zurich. You will play a vital role in

developing innovative solutions for the earthquake safety of diverse structures, from residential buildings to critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the project team to design and implement strategies for earthquake-resistant construction and retrofitting of existing structures.

· Perform static calculations for earthquake loads in new and existing buildings, including retrofitting projects.

• Contribute to the planning and design of high-rise buildings under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Provide expert advice to project managers from other disciplines on earthquake safety and building dynamics.

Qualifications/Your Profile

• Master’s degree in civil engineering with a specialisation in earthquake engineering, building dynamics, or related fields.
• Proven proficiency in static analysis methods and earthquake engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
