Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join the team in Munich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road and railway construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:
  • Develop detailed design plans for road and railway infrastructure projects, including alignments, grades, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates.
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications.
• Construction Supervision:
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor progress and quality control.
  • Resolve construction issues and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Site Inspections:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress and identify potential problems.
  • Document site conditions and prepare inspection reports.
• Project Management:
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting.
• Client Liaison:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Present project updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in road and railway construction projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and project management tools.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German (written and spoken). English language skills are advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of German construction standards and regulations.
