-
Act as a central point of contact for EHS across the facility, supporting employee engagement and leadership accountability in safety.
-
Oversee hazardous materials and waste handling protocols, ensuring safe disposal and environmental compliance.
-
Support emergency response efforts including site-specific contingency plans and continuity strategies.

-
Represent the site in absence of the EHS Manager, maintaining continuity in all safety operations.
-
Contribute to sustainability goals by supporting environmental initiatives like waste reduction and energy optimization.
What You’ll Bring
-
Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, and state/local regulatory frameworks.
-
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels around safety objectives.
-
Hands-on experience with incident investigation, safety audits, and compliance tracking.
-
Proficient in developing and managing comprehensive EHS programs.
-
Skilled at communicating safety performance to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
-
Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple priorities independently.
-
Experience with data analytics and safety software tools (e.g., EHS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite).
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline.
-
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
-
5-7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or similarly regulated environment.
-
Proven track record leading regulatory audits, training initiatives, and risk reduction strategies.
