Senior SAP IS-U Consultant (FICA / Utilities)

Darwin Recruitment is currently partnered with an established and innovative consultancy in the energy and utilities sector. Our client is seeking a Senior SAP IS-U Consultant with a strong background in FICA and Utilities to support ongoing digital transformation projects.

Role Overview:

As a Senior SAP IS-U Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and implementing customer-centric SAP IS-U solutions focused on the FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) module. You’ll be working in a high-performing team that values innovation, transparency, and agility, supporting major clients across Germany’s energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IS-U FICA solutions.

• Work closely with utility clients to optimize financial processes related to billing, invoicing, and revenue management.

• Analyze existing processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and automation.

• Support full project lifecycle – from requirement gathering to go-live and post-go-live support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a modern, flexible working environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in SAP IS-U with a focus on FICA.

• Deep knowledge of the German energy/utilities sector and related regulatory frameworks.

• Strong consulting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

• Fluent in German (mandatory), English proficiency preferred.

• Experience working in agile environments is a plus.
