About the role

Are you a passionate and experienced project leader with a background in road and utility construction?

Are you looking for a new challenge where you can lead medium to large projects?

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout. You will work closely with a team of engineers, construction workers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large road and utility construction projects
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules
• Manage project budgets and resources
• Coordinate and supervise project teams
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure that projects comply with all relevant safety and quality standards
• Support the department in acquiring new projects and maintaining customer relationships

Key skills and experience

• Degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management across SIA phases
• Proven track record of successfully leading construction projects
• Strong understanding of road and utility construction principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality
