Company Overview:
My client is a leading semiconductor manufacturer focused on innovation and precision in advanced microchip production. We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee small manufacturing equipment projects over the next three years. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful procurement, installation, and integration of specialized equipment into our production processes.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate multiple small-scale manufacturing equipment projects, ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, capital project management, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage multiple small manufacturing equipment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with engineering, facilities, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth equipment procurement, installation, and integration.
- Timeline & Budget Management: Develop project schedules, track milestones, and maintain budget control to ensure efficient project execution.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure timely delivery, compliance with specifications, and successful commissioning.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in project execution and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in semiconductor manufacturing, capital equipment projects, or industrial automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of semiconductor fabrication equipment, cleanroom operations, and manufacturing processes.
- Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple small projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Communication & Leadership: Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Certifications: PMP certification is a plus but not required.
