If you are a Data Lead with architect experience and you are looking for a new project I have a exciting opportunity for you.

The role will be a hybrid position some onsite presences will be needed.

The length of contract will be 12 months +

Role: Data Lead/Architect

Required Skills:

• Experience in leading and architecting data solutions
• Strong proficiency with Databricks for data processing and analytics
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Expertise in data management, data warehousing, and data integration
• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance
• Experience in managing data pipelines, including ETL processes
• Ability to design scalable data architectures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts (bonus)

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with alternative cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Understanding of insurance-specific data, such as actuarial models, claims data, policy management systems, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data architecture and engineering team in delivering scalable data solutions
• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Oversee data migrations to the cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability
• Guide data governance and security practices
• Develop documentation and blueprints for the data architecture and pipeline
