Senior Software Engineer – Freelance – Zurich
Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in Zurich office)
Availability: Full-time
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on software development across multiple projects (Java, Spring Boot, Angular).
* Participate in design and planning sessions with a globally distributed team.
* Contribute to system architecture and technical direction.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders within a larger department/project.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years of professional Java development.
* Strong experience with Spring Boot, object-oriented design, and web application architecture.
* Solid understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, relational databases (Postgres), and CI/CD.
* Familiarity with cloud (Azure), Docker, Git, Maven, Linux, and async messaging.
* Bonus: Angular, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Cypress, Python.
