Construction Manager – Civil Engineering (f/m/d)

A well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm with over 50 years of experience in planning and delivering infrastructure projects across the energy, transport, and environmental sectors is looking to strengthen its civil engineering team.

With long-standing partnerships with key utility network operators, the company is actively involved in the renewal and expansion of inner-city supply networks. We are currently seeking a Construction Manager in Civil Engineering to support our line construction department.

Your Responsibilities

In this diverse role, you will contribute to a wide range of tasks related to construction management and tendering, as well as planning and cost estimation in general civil engineering and pipeline construction. This includes gas, water, and district heating systems, electrical lines, sewage infrastructure, and trenchless pipe-laying techniques.

You will receive thorough onboarding from our experienced team. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility as lead construction manager (project manager), acting as the technical point of contact on-site and occasionally supporting clients with construction-related inquiries.

Your Profile

• A completed diploma as a construction manager (HFP) or civil engineer (FH/ETH)

• Solid technical knowledge and experience in managing civil engineering projects, including site supervision and handling tenders for infrastructure construction

• Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams across various projects; experience in project planning is a plus

• Strong organisational skills and a structured working style

• Professional demeanour, excellent communication abilities, and a service-oriented mindset, even under pressure
