CAPEX Lead – Senior Manager

The CAPEX Lead is responsible for the design, execution, and handover of capital investment projects (1-50 MCHF) within Visp’s Shared Infrastructure. This role ensures safety, budget, schedule, quality, and functionality compliance while leading multinational project teams and engaging with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CAPEX projects from concept to handover, ensuring scope, cost, and timeline adherence.
• Establish project charters, control systems, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee engineering, project reviews, and technical compliance.
• Manage internal and external resources, ensuring best practices and innovation.
• Ensure HSE, regulatory, and quality compliance in all project phases.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing within the engineering community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Plant, or similar).
• 5-10 years engineering experience, including 5 years in CAPEX projects (Energy, Wastewater, etc.).
• Strong project management, contract management, and leadership skills in an international environment.
• Expertise in infrastructure project engineering, ideally in chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
• HSE knowledge, interdisciplinary expertise, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
