Project Manager – UKG / Workforce Management
Location: US-based / Remote | Travel: Up to 25% (Domestic & International)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple consulting projects for clients across the US and internationally. This role involves providing both project and personnel leadership, ensuring successful delivery, supporting account management, and driving client satisfaction. The Project Manager will oversee UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) implementations, including assessment, configuration, optimization, and post-implementation support.

The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, maintain client relationships, track budgets and forecasts, and deliver high-quality outcomes for HR, payroll, and workforce management projects powered by UKG technology.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Management

• Lead multiple UKG implementation projects from scoping through go-live and post-implementation support.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

• Manage project risks, issues, and change management processes proactively.

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions with clients and internal teams to align on goals and deliverables.

• Present project deliverables to clients and ensure high-quality results aligned with business requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.

• Build strong client relationships and guide teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

• Identify opportunities for additional business and support proposal development as needed.

Team Leadership & Development

• Coach, mentor, and develop project teams, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.

• Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Process & Practice Development

• Support practice development by staying current on UKG and workforce management trends.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives, trade shows, networking, and recruiting activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 6+ years of project management experience, specifically with UKG or workforce management/HRIS implementations.

• Familiarity with UKG products (UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions) and related certifications are a plus.

• Strong project management skills with experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of HR, payroll, and workforce management processes.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering on time and within budget.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Working Conditions

• Flexible work environment: home office or client site. Must maintain a productive workspace with high-speed internet, phone, printer, and other office essentials.

• Occasional domestic and international travel (up to 25%).

• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed to meet client needs.
