A global provider of specialist Electrical and Digital Infrastructure solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to support their growing Data Center Power & Control division. This remote role is a unique opportunity to join a highly innovative team, designing technical solutions for complex data center environments across North America.

Who This Role Would Suit

Perfect for someone with hands-on experience in data centers – possibly in a technician, field support, or hardware engineering role – who’s ready to move into a more consultative, pre-sales engineering position. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy solving technical problems and working directly with customers on high-impact infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with the sales team to design and deliver power and access control solutions, including PDUs, KVM systems, and hybrid transfer switches.
  • Acting as a technical advisor for end users, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Leading product demos, system architecture designs, and solution presentations.
  • Supporting RFP responses and product evaluations (proof of concept).
  • Providing expert guidance that aligns with customer goals and existing infrastructure.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations or data center-related hardware manufacturing.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
