Sales Executive and Area Manager

A leading provider of innovative bioprocess solutions is seeking a Sales Executive and Area Manager to support our continued growth in key European markets. Our mission is to deliver excellence in customer experience through advanced equipment, software, and services for bioprocessing, supporting both research and industrial-scale production.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a dual role in driving direct sales and managing distributor relationships across designated markets. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from any location with reliable internet and access to a major airport, though a hybrid arrangement involving periodic visits to our headquarters in southern Spain is also possible.

You’ll be a part of a dynamic Marketing and Sales team, working closely with product managers, process specialists, and marketing professionals. With the organization’s rapid expansion, this role offers strong potential for future leadership responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

As Sales Executive (Direct Market Responsibility):

  • Identify and engage new prospects through strategic market research and outreach.

  • Convert leads into sales, providing consultative support throughout the purchasing journey.

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, understanding their needs and challenges.

  • Deliver persuasive presentations and product demos that highlight the value of our solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, quality, product, supply chain, marketing) to meet client expectations.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining healthy profit margins.

  • Track sales performance against targets/KPIs, and provide regular updates and documentation via CRM.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, proposing tools and strategies to improve market position.

  • Recommend pricing models, campaigns, and initiatives to meet or exceed sales goals.

As Area Manager:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive sales strategies for assigned markets.

  • Help define and refine a best-in-class sales process, tailored by market segment and client type.

  • Identify and manage key accounts, directly or through delegation.

  • Ensure rigorous CRM documentation and reporting for all activities in your regions.

  • Lead, support, and motivate a network of distributors, identifying training and development needs to drive performance.

  • Contribute to the broader commercial strategy, including exploring strategic collaborations and scientific partnerships.


Location & Travel

  • Remote-first role, with flexibility to work from anywhere.

  • Frequent travel (approx. 65%) required for client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and other commercial activities.
