The Role:
We’re looking for a Computer Vision Engineer who is passionate about applying deep technical expertise to projects with national impact. This role involves developing and deploying state-of-the-art vision algorithms to power next-generation sensing and intelligence platforms. You will help build systems that operate in complex, unstructured environments – from aerial to ground-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop computer vision algorithms for detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding in challenging environments.

• Build and optimize deep learning models for processing video, multispectral imagery, and sensor fusion data.

• Implement and maintain robust, scalable codebases for use in edge computing and real-time systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, systems engineering, and field testing.

• Contribute to model evaluation, data pipeline construction, and performance benchmarking.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in computer vision, deep learning, or a related field.

• Proficient in Python and/or C++, with strong experience using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent tools.

• Solid understanding of visual perception challenges in real-world environments.

• Experience developing models for object detection, tracking, or SLAM.

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required due to the nature of certain projects.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with sensor fusion (e.g., LiDAR, radar + camera).

• Familiarity with embedded platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, ARM).

• Experience working on government, defense, or dual-use technologies.

• Background in working with aerial or satellite imagery.
