FTTH Project Manager – Data Center – 12 month Contract (+extensions) – Frankfurt

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in Frankfurt where we are looking to hire a temporary external consultant / contingent worker as soon as possible.

My client, a leading cable provider in Germany are searching for an experienced FTTH Project Manager to play a key role in delivering fiber optic networks across the country.

Conditions:

• Start date: February 2025
• Daily rate: To be discussed
• Location: Onsite in Frankfurt
• Contract End Date: 12 months (+extensions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage FTTH network implementation projects, ensuring project KPIs related to timeline, cost, and quality are met.
• Establish and define efficient working procedures with operators, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Organize regular internal and external meetings to track progress and conduct performance reviews.
• Proactively address escalations and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
• Effectively manage communication and expectations with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the project acceptance process with customers and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Program/Project Manager for access network and FTTH rollout projects in Germany.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

General Requirements for the position:

• Wear PPE at all times.
• Travel is a requirement of the position.
• You are required to work on any of the sites serviced by my client in Germany.
• Full Driving License and own vehicle is also a requirement of the role.
