Senior QA Developer

We're seeking a passionate Senior Software Developer (QA & Test Automation) to spearhead quality and automation initiatives within our rapidly growing tech team. This is a new role offering the unique opportunity to shape and innovate our QA practices, with a mandate to identify and address any gaps in process, technology, and architecture.

About the Opportunity:

• Lead the charge in expanding our automated test suite.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve their test writing skills and overall productivity.
• Set best practices for efficient and effective QA processes.
• Identify and implement cutting-edge tools and technologies to revolutionize our testing landscape.

About You:

• Technical Prowess: Strong foundations in problem-solving, ideally backed by a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Industry Savvy: Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer, with a deep understanding of the software development process and challenges in test automation and quality.
• Passionate Advocate: You breathe software quality and thrive on coaching and empowering developers to leverage automated testing effectively.
• Testing Connoisseur: Experience with various test types (Unit, Integration, E2E, LnP) and complex service-oriented systems with difficult-to-control external dependencies.
• Collaborative Spirit: Experience in CI/CD environments where testing is a continuous and integrated effort.
• Language Ninja: Fluent in English.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm).
• Cross-browser and cross-device E2E testing expertise.
