Systems Implementation Project Manager (Bilingual)

Overview

An established logistics and transportation organization is seeking a Systems Implementation Project Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations for intermodal equipment, including containers, chassis, and flat racks. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, safety oversight, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support mechanics and welders performing equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
• Implement a new maintenance and repair strategy
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, FHWA, and IICL standards
• Oversee annual inspections and preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory reporting
• Lead safety training and enforce safe work practices
• Assist with training, performance reviews, and overtime management
• Provide hands-on technical support and serve as backup to maintenance leadership when required

Requirements

• 3+ years of intermodal equipment repair experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance programs
• Experience in marine ports, shipping, transportation, or marine logistics environments
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days
