Construction Site Manager – Data Center build – 12 month Contract (+extensions) – Frankfurt

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in Frankfurt where we are looking to hire a temporary external consultant / freelancer as soon as possible.

Conditions:

• Start date: ASAP
• Daily rate: To be discussed
• Contract End Date: 12 months (+extensions)

Skills background:

• 5+ years experience working construction project management, preferably in data centers
• Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems (electrical or mechanical background)
• Experience in managing a construction project
• Strong background in Project Management methodologies
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English. German language skills are bonus

Job responsibilities:

• Manage the cost change process and negotiate best pricing in partnership with cross functional/matrixed team members in cost and schedule
• Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable and predictable turnover dates. Reporting upward on opportunities, risks, and mitigations to ensure predictable delivery of capacity
• Responsible for the development of cost savings solutions and early identification of project savings/underruns to ensure target values are maintained which providing predictable delivery of capacity to the business
• Lead and mentor the construction team by providing guidance and support
• Stakeholder Communication
• Contract Management
