The mission:

• Prepares bids & tenders: Independently handles customer inquiries and tenders, including cost estimation and preliminary design.
• Key metrics & design: Develops key figures for new builds/conversions and conducts preliminary ship design (structures, outfitting, etc.).
• Evaluates & recommends: Analyses construction methods and proposes optimal solutions for projects.
• Liaison & communication: Acts as a bridge between customers, project teams, and suppliers.
• Technical & commercial expertise: Provides technical and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile:

• Technical Education: Technical background and a degree in mechanical, plant, or shipbuilding engineering.
• Experience: At least one of the following: professional shipbuilding experience or experience in complex construction/modernization projects.
• Skills: Strong IT skills for managing estimates and their integrations with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP).
• Languages: Fluency in BOTH German and English is a must
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer-orientation.
