Cryptography Engineer

This role is hands-on and implementation-driven – ideal for someone who can take research papers and turn them into performant, production-ready code. You’ll collaborate closely with our research and engineering teams to build the cryptographic backbone of the team.

What You’ll Do

• Implement advanced cryptographic primitives (e.g., signature schemes, threshold cryptography) based on academic research and internal innovations
• Own the implementation of a novel post-quantum threshold signature scheme developed in collaboration with our academic partners
• Collaborate with protocol and consensus teams to integrate cryptographic systems into the broader blockchain infrastructure
• Write clean, secure, and efficient code (Rust preferred)
• Validate, test, and optimise cryptographic components for real-world usage
