This opportunity is with a forward-thinking company at a pivotal stage of integrating its sustainability strategies into core operations. Their focus is on enhancing ESG frameworks, improving compliance with regulatory standards, and driving meaningful stakeholder engagement, public and regulatory affairs.
I’m looking for someone who:
- Has 7+ years of proven experience in CSR or sustainability program management, ideally in the food or manufacturing sectors.
- Is fluent in Dutch and English, ensuring effective communication for diverse target audiences and content.
- Possesses deep knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy) and expertise in non-financial disclosures such as value chain mapping, circularity, and decarbonization.
- Has experience in target setting (e.g., DMA) to identify corporate risks and opportunities, prioritize value-driven goals, and ensure compliance.
- Demonstrates excellent program/project management, stakeholder engagement (e.g., suppliers, investors, consumers, employees, government, NGOs), and leadership skills.
- Possesses a systems-thinking approach with experience in ERP systems and CSR tools, enabling automated reporting and the development of coherent, integrated solutions.
- Brings external engagement expertise, driving corporate nongovernmental (e.g., FEDIMA) organization plans and aligning sustainability approaches with business challenges.
- Creates customer value through the commercialization of sustainable programs and provides thought leadership on upstream and downstream value chains.
- Is available from January/February 2025 for at least 32-40 hours per week and is willing to work in a hybrid setting with travel as needed.
Who is interested in:
- Leading reliable ESG advisory and driving CSR strategies aligned with sustainability goals.
- Engaging with key stakeholders to foster internal and external partnerships and enhance public and regulatory affairs.
- Creating and managing CSR communications, campaigns, and reports (both internal and external).
- Ensuring compliance with CSRD and other regulatory standards while managing KPIs and governance policies.
- Overseeing program monitoring and progress across various operating companies.
For a company who:
- Provides a dynamic and supportive environment focused on creating sustainable impact.
- Values innovative solutions and prioritizes employee development in sustainability practices.
- Is at the forefront of integrating ESG goals into business operations.
- Offers the chance to work on high-profile projects that align with global sustainability efforts.
