Technical Inspector/Superintendent

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and planning the maintenance and repair of the nautical and

technical systems, equipment, and safety systems within a defined section of

our fleet

• Close cooperation and communication with the vessel crews
• Budget planning and control
• Handling insurance claims
• Preparing and conducting dockings, repairs, and maintenance work

What You Bring:

• A completed technical apprenticeship/degree with relevant seagoing experience

as a Technical Watch Officer or Chief Engineer (CT/CI licence)

• Experience in the inspection department of a shipping company
• Knowledge of ship technical maintenance and ship newbuilding is desirable
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
• Independent and responsible working style
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team
