We are currently seeking a Bridge Inspector / Team Leader to join our Transportation Design Group, supporting our Bridge Inspection Department. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career while contributing to critical public infrastructure projects.
Your Responsibilities

Perform bridge inspections for state and local transportation agencies.

Utilize web-based software to update asset information and generate detailed inspection reports.

Assist inspection teams with equipment setup, data collection, and field documentation.

Support Project Management or Task Leadership activities, depending on experience.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.

Participate in training programs and stay current with relevant standards and practices.

Occasionally work weekends on field assignments as needed.

Carry inspection equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to deliver accurate and high-quality work.
Your Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of field experience in bridge inspection.

Bridge Safety Inspection Certification (state-level equivalent) required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with bridge inspection software (e.g., iFORMS, National Bridge Elements, or BMS2 coding).

Experience on state DOT or Turnpike Commission projects is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive work ethic.

Ability to process field documentation, chart data, and assist with report preparation efficiently.
