We’re looking for a skilled Natural Gas Compressor Technician to maintain and repair slow speed natural gas compression equipment throughout the USA. This is hands-on field work with a company that values expertise, reliability, and professionalism.
Salary $35 – $60
What You’ll Do
Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on Cooper, Worthington, Ariel, CAT, and other natural gas compressor packages
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues quickly and accurately
What You Bring
5+ years of experience working on overhaul natural gas compressor projects.
Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: boroscopes, valve inspections, replacing piston rings etc
Performing alignment checks
Knowledge of API 618
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Bonus Points For
OEM or factory training (Ariel, Waukesha, CAT, Cooper, etc.)
Experience with PLC-based engine/compressor controls
What You’ll Get
$35 – $60+/hr, based on experience plus extra for specialist certifications.
