Data Center Electrical Engineer.

We are seeking experienced Data Center Electrical Engineers to join our team on a contract basis in Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, review, commissioning, and maintenance oversight of electrical systems within mission-critical data center environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure power reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure for data centers (UPS, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and associated systems).
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate system performance, reliability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues impacting data center operations..
• Prepare documentation, reports, and technical drawings as required.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and facility teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical facility electrical engineering.

• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.

• PE license in Texas preferred (but not required).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
