HR Officer – Amsterdam

Your Responsibilities

As an HR Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring all HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient HR administration and support core HR processes

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related queries including topics such as leave, employment terms, AFAS, and employment contracts

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and ensure the integrity of employee files

  • Draft various types of HR-related correspondence for employees and management

  • Keep the internal HR intranet page current and relevant

  • Generate and deliver monthly HR reports from the AFAS system

  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to improve processes and contribute to HR projects


Your Profile

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional who works independently, takes initiative, and brings a critical eye to HR operations. You know how to set priorities, maintain structure under pressure, and enjoy working collaboratively in a team. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude with a sense of humor are highly valued.

What you bring:

  • Completed education in Human Resource Management (HRM)

  • At least 3 years of relevant HR experience

  • Solid experience with AFAS, and an interest in optimizing HR processes and reporting

  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken)

  • Proficiency in Excel and general comfort with data and reporting tools
