Bid Manager – UAV Defence Start-up – France

Darwin Recruitment have partnered exclusively with an early-stage, well funded UAV Defence Start-up in France.

They build innovative Drones for harsh, volatile Defence environments and have a truly unique offering.

Following recent seed funding, they are now scaling up their Sales team and are starting with a Bid Manager hire.

You will take responsibility for leading the entire end-to-end bid process, from qualifying an opportunity (RFIs, RFPs and tenders), all the way through to the close. Working in partnership with sales, operational, technical and legal teams to ensure the proposal is compelling, compliant, and in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Previous experience in the Defence and/or Drone industry is preferred.

Experience of Interest:

• 3+ years in Bid Management.
• Proven project management / organisation skills (working on multiple bids).
• Defence, Aerospace and/or high-tech industry exp.
• Experienced working with Government / sensitive clients.
• Security Clearance or ability to gain desired.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, International Affairs or similar.

Based in Paris, however open to exploring hybrid/remote options across France for the right individual.

Salary depends on location and experience; however we’re looking at a range from €50,000 – €70,000.
