UAV Systems Engineer – AI UAV Defence Start-up – France

Darwin Recruitment have partnered with one of the most exciting UAV Defence Start-ups in France.

They build products that enable crucial real-time intelligence, built around AI & Computer Vision technology.

Following $2m in pre-seed funding, they are now investing heavily in their technical teams.

They need an experienced UAV Systems Engineer to work on flight control systems and Software-In-The-Loop / Hardware-In-The-Loop simulations.

Previous experience in the Defence and/or Drone industry is preferred.

Experience of Interest:

• Software Development – C++, Python
• AI & Computer Vision
• Embedded Systems / Autonomous Robotics – RTOS
• Software-In-The-Loop / Hardware-In-The-Loop simulations
• Autonomous Navigation preferred (PX4, Ardupilot)
• Start-up environments preferred

This is a chance to join a reputable start-up and to shape AI products that are having a genuine real-world impact.

Based in Paris, however open to exploring hybrid/remote options for the right individual.

Salary depends on location and experience; however we’re looking at a range from €80,000 – €90,000.
