Our client are a leading end-to-end Data Center technology partner, with twenty years experience supporting the worlds leading Data Center operators. They’re looking for Critical Systems Technician, with extensive knowledge of Switchgears, to join their team Data Center Alley, Ashburn, VA.

Within this role you’ll take responsibility for commissioning, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mission-critical electrical systems, including UPS, switchgear, PLCs, and related equipment in Data Center environments.

This role requires national travel to other Data Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pre-sales technical reviews and equipment submittals
• Attend factory testing and ensure issue resolution
• Oversee on-site installation, testing, and customer coordination
• Develop project schedules, manage staffing needs, and track scope changes
• Conduct final system turnover and documentation
• Provide technical support, training, and field service, including preventive maintenance
• Travel as needed

Qualifications:

• An educational background, and several years work experience with electrical systems
• Experience working in Data Center, or other Mission Critical Infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of critical power systems
• Able to read schematics and manage field operations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• US citizenship and valid driver’s license required
• NETA/NICET Level 2 or 3 preferred
