Job Title: Technical Superintendent (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical management of assigned vessels, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
• Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities to ensure vessels comply with international standards and requirements.
• Monitor vessel performance, including fuel consumption and machinery condition, to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and company policies.
• Manage budgets for vessel maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Liaise with vessel crews to provide technical support and guidance.
• Coordinate with classification societies, flag states, and other regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Chief Engineer’s license or equivalent certification.
• Several years of experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar role within the maritime industry.
• In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in relevant software applications and planned maintenance systems.
