What You’ll Do:
- Develop and optimize real-time computer vision algorithms for autonomous targeting systems.
- Design machine learning models tailored for deployment in resource-constrained, embedded environments.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate vision systems into autonomous weapon platforms.
- Test and validate algorithm performance across varied operational conditions and environments.
- Contribute to transitioning the prototype system into a rugged, field-deployable platform, and assist with designing variants for different use cases.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong passion for computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, with demonstrated interest early in your career.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with emphasis on machine learning and computer vision.
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning-based vision systems, particularly in robotics or safety-critical applications.
- Proficiency in Python and C++, along with experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience working with embedded systems and integrating software with hardware platforms.
- Familiarity with sensing technologies like cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR, and their application in autonomous systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and a desire to solve complex, interdisciplinary engineering problems.
