Payroll Consultant (Digitalization & Process Optimization)
Location: Munich or Remote (with travel as needed)

Overview:
A leading consultancy is seeking Payroll Consultants to support clients across Germany in optimizing, digitalizing, and automating payroll processes. This role includes both strategic advisory and hands-on support with payroll operations, system implementation, and outsourcing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support payroll system implementation projects from requirements gathering to go-live

• Analyze and optimize payroll processes and operating models (in-house, outsourcing)

• Provide expert advice on technical and functional payroll matters

• Support vendor/software selection and client-side payroll projects

• Assist clients with day-to-day payroll operations and compliance

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in payroll (consulting, operations, or tax advisory)

• Strong analytical skills and initiative

• Technical affinity; SAP HCM Payroll experience a plus

• Strong communication and presentation abilities

• Fluent in German (mandatory)

• Willingness to travel (approx. 75% desirable)
