Freelance ESG Consultant

I am helping a leading company in the maritime and port construction sector that is looking for an ESG Consultant for a freelance project focusing on the development of its 2024 Sustainability Report. The role offers a mix of remote work and occasional on-site collaboration in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive and compliant 2024 Sustainability Report.
• Conduct a materiality analysis to identify key ESG priorities.
• Calculate the company’s carbon footprint and provide actionable reduction strategies.
• Analyze and ensure compliance with environmental taxonomy regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in sustainability reporting, carbon footprint assessment, and materiality analysis.
• Solid understanding of environmental taxonomy and sustainability trends.
• Portuguese language skills are a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for clear and actionable reporting.
