AI Product Lead – DefenseTech – Portugal

Darwin have partnered with a start-up who are experiencing huge growth, having established themselves as a leader within their field providing critical technology for Defense & Security applications.

They are now looking to hire a pivotal role for the organisation, an AI Product Lead who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of their Data & AI product portfolio, designing and implementing a range of product strategies.

You would lead and build a high-performance team of Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure the successful delivery of all their AI-powered solutions across Computer Vision, GenAI, Signal Processing & Edge Computing to name just a few.

Experience of Interest

• Proven track record as a leader of successful AI Product teams.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, Data, Big Data technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, stakeholder relationship management etc.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira etc.).
• Technical Educational Background (Computer Science, Software Development, AI or any Engineering discipline).
• Industry experience within Defense, Aviation/Aerospace, Robotics or Autonomous Systems beneficial.

Pay circa €90,000 – €120,000 + 20% bonus, to be based in Portugal with a presence at either their Porto or Lisbon site. Hybrid/Remote flexibility available.
