Overview

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Field Service Technician to join a growing service team supporting customers across the Netherlands.

You’ll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining a range of air handling and ventilation systems, while providing technical support and training to customers. This is a varied field-based position offering autonomy, ongoing technical development and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the commissioning of HVAC and air handling equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs across the full product range.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and identify effective technical solutions.
• Carry out retrofit and upgrade work on existing installations.
• Provide technical support to customers both on-site and remotely.
• Train and guide customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare intervention reports following service visits.
• Plan and prepare service visits, ensuring the correct tools and spare parts are available.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and service vehicle to a high standard.
• Promote spare parts, upgrades and additional service solutions where appropriate.

Requirements

• Experience working as an HVAC Service Technician, Field Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.
• Experience commissioning, servicing and fault finding on HVAC or air handling equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to analyse technical issues and determine practical solutions independently.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Organised, methodical and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel throughout Belgium, including occasional overnight stays.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of English is beneficial.
• F-Gas certification or refrigeration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Knowledge of HVAC, ventilation systems, controls or automation is highly desirable.
