Role: Agentic AI Engineer
Location: Barcelona / Remote
Start date: September 2026
Length: 6 to 12 months initially, with strong extension potential

About: This global commerce brand is building a dedicated Agentic AI engineering team to design, experiment with, and launch next generation AI products and capabilities. Rather than writing code line by line, you’ll direct, validate, and refine AI-generated solutions, combining engineering expertise with agentic ways of working to deliver at scale.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer within large, complex engineering organisations.
• Proven background in high-scale, digital-first environments (Amazon, Google, Meta, Netflix, etc.)
• Strong engineering judgement with the ability to direct, review and validate AI-generated code.
• Comfortable working in an agentic engineering model, using AI as a core part of the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, code quality and engineering best practices.
• Experience with AI coding agents or GenAI-assisted development tools.

Desirable Skills

• Background in Staff, Principal or Senior Software Engineering roles.
• Experience building distributed or cloud-native applications.
