Building Automation System Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a Building Automation System Specialist II to support the installation, testing, and servicing of building control systems. You will work on-site with project teams to ensure systems are operating efficiently and meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sequence testing to verify system performance and compliance
- Conduct point-to-point verification and test system components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues; recommend improvements
- Create and update system graphics, layouts, and dashboards
- Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and system adjustments
- Ensure proper installation of sensors and control components
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project records
- Support team members and provide basic user or technician training
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- 2+ years of Building Automation Systems experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems
- Familiarity with building systems and controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
