Senior Project Engineer – Genetec (Security Management)

The Role

As a Senior Project Engineer specialising in Genetec Security Center, you will take ownership of the engineering and technical delivery of complex security projects. You will translate customer requirements into scalable, high-quality system configurations while ensuring seamless integration between Genetec Security Center, Omnicast and Synergis.

You’ll be responsible for solving complex technical challenges beyond standard system configurations, including SDK integrations, advanced networking issues and third-party system connectivity. In addition to your technical expertise, you’ll provide guidance and support to junior engineers throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced security systems engineer with strong expertise in Genetec technologies and enterprise security solutions.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience engineering and configuring Genetec Security Center environments.
• Current Genetec certifications such as OTC, STC or Genetec Certified Professional (GCP) are highly desirable.
• Experience integrating Omnicast, Synergis and third-party security systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, databases and enterprise security infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing advanced integrations using SDKs or APIs.
• The ability to work independently while managing the technical delivery of multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced engineers during project implementation.
• Willingness to attend the office at least one day per week for project coordination, collaboration and quality assurance.
