Darwin Engineering are currently looking for an experienced Data Centre Facility Engineer to join their team, supporting data centre projects across Germany.

Project Focus

• Support installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of data centre facility systems.
• Provide technical support for UPS, power distribution, cooling and monitoring systems.
• Conduct site acceptance testing, equipment health checks and maintenance quality inspections.
• Deliver technical training to customers and partners on facility equipment and operations.
• Support technical risk reviews and resolve critical site issues, including hardware replacements and software updates.
• Maintain service reports and ensure project delivery meets technical standards and agreed service requirements.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant electrical qualification or certificate (essential).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data centre facilities, including UPS installation, commissioning and testing.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, power distribution, cooling and monitoring systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and data centre facility equipment installation.
• Experience in technical service delivery, troubleshooting and customer support.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to live and work in Germany.
