The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Business Solution Manager to join a major organisation within the Belgian energy sector and support the development of an innovative Asset Needs Management (ANM) product.

The ANM product is designed to improve how maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation needs are identified, assessed and managed. It supports increasingly data-driven and transparent decision-making around maintenance planning, asset replacement and investment preparation.

Working closely with the Product Owner, Asset Managers, domain experts, Data specialists and IT teams, you will combine product thinking, business process expertise and hands-on data analysis to turn complex operational challenges into scalable product solutions.

This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, ownership and the opportunity to contribute directly to digital transformation within a critical infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner in shaping and delivering the ANM product roadmap.
• Take end-to-end ownership of selected product topics, from problem definition and stakeholder alignment through to implementation and validation.
• Analyse and improve maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation processes.
• Define, document, test and validate the business rules and decision logic used to generate asset needs.
• Use Python to analyse datasets, investigate anomalies, validate hypotheses and challenge business logic.
• Identify data-quality issues and assess their potential business impact.
• Work closely with stakeholders to coordinate corrective actions and sustainable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops with Asset Managers, domain experts and other stakeholders.
• Act as the bridge between Asset Management, Product, Data and IT.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear product requirements and actionable solutions.
• Prepare recommendations, product documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and roadmap planning.
• Support testing, release preparation, deployment, user adoption and continuous improvement.
• Monitor product quality and business outcomes and recommend improvements based on data and user feedback.
• Provide continuity for product activities and, when required, act as Deputy Product Owner.
